Kadai Chicken Recipe: One of the classic Indian chicken curries, this is a chicken recipe from North India. The name comes from the way of cooking this recipe which is in a ‘Kadai or wok. It takes about half to one hour to cook it perfectly and with simple ingredients that are available at home. Kadai chicken makes it to the very best of my list of restaurant favorites. Hearty chicken curry with a rich, thick sauce that coats equally of the chicken. This recipe is certainly one for the keeps. you will be served with roti because often a Samy gravy dish. What makes this curry special is that the addition of crunchy green bell peppers (capsicum) and cubed onions, cubes of tomato – this provides a pleasing crunch and texture, which makes it different from a typical chicken curry recipe. For chicken gravy, a special masala is there. that u can make in-home or bring from market.

-: INGREDIENTS:-

  • Chicken-500 gm
  • Cube onion- 2 no
  • cube capsicum- 2 no
  • cube tomato- 2 no
  • chopped onion-3 no
  • chopped tomato- 3 no
  • Whole red chili- 3 no
  • cashew nut-100 gm
  • Tomato puree-100 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp
  • Curd-50 gm
  • Kadai masala- 3 tsp
  • Coriander powder-2 tsp
  • Cumin powder-1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chili powder -2 tsp
  • Spicy red chili powder- 2 tsp
  • Salt – as per test
  • Ghee – 2 tsp
  • Butter-3 tsp
  • Chopped coriander-for garnish

– : METHOD :-

  • Kadai chicken First, we ready the chicken. you’ll marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste salt and black paper.
  • Take the entire tomato for puree with boiled Cashewnut and therefore the other for chopping.
  • Now we roast the chicken. Take a pan or small Kadai, when hot add all the spices and will roast on a slow flame until the spices are lightly brown and may smell the aroma of spices.

 

 

 

 

 

  • then it cool makes powder, not powder like crashed.
  • so now making basic masala take a little Kadai when hot add oil, cumin, bay leaves, chopped onion, and roast on a slow flame until brown color. adds chopped tomato put salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, Kashmiri flavorer, and a slight bit of sugar.
    Finally, we come to the last step, now take an enormous Kadai put whole gram masala, raw cut chicken, salt roast properly. when the white color came to place that basic masala. within the last add tomato puree, put mainly kadhai masala and cooking 20-minute .at last check salt put some ghee and butter.
  • inside a take, frypan put oil add red chili whole, dished onion, capsicum, tomato toasted it and put the highest of gravy mix it. add chopped coriander.
  • Ready to serve with roti and steamed rice.
